Gladys Aylward : The Small Woman With A Great God (DVD)
$20.99
Gladys Aylward (1902-1970) may have been small in stature at barely five feet tall, but she was a giant of conviction! Even Hollywood was amazed by her story and made a movie about it, entitled The Inn of the Sixth Happiness.
This fascinating documentary presents the events of Gladys’ life, chronicled by Carol Purves, author of Chinese Whispers: The Gladys Aylward Story and accompanied by photographs, illustrations, and recordings of Gladys’ own voice.
Young Gladys sensed a calling from God to leave London and go to minister in China. She worked as a parlormaid for many years until she had enough money saved for her passage. In 1930, she boarded a train and after many weeks and harrowing situations, she finally reached her destination.
In China she assisted aging missionary Jeannie Lawson. Together they opened an inn for mule drivers and told them stories about Jesus. After Mrs. Lawson died, Gladys began to take in unwanted children, eventually numbering about 100. With Japan invading China full force, Gladys and the 100 children traveled for days on foot across the mountains to safety. Gladys continued her work with children until her death in 1970.
See how this ordinary woman experienced the extraordinary, simply because she said “yes” to God.

Origin : Design Chance And The First Life On Earth (DVD)
$28.89Add to cartThis long awaited sequel to Illustra’s landmark documentary Unlocking the Mystery of Life challenges the paradigm of scientific materialism and the belief that life is nothing more than the product of blind, undirected processes.
With spectacular computer animation and cutting-edge research, ORIGIN examines a question that has baffled science for centuries: How did life on Earth begin? Today, most researchers insist it arose through simple chemistry that-without direction or plan-somehow transformed inanimate matter into the first living cell. Yet, this explanation is devoid of evidence and unsatisfying, even to its most ardent supporters.
As ORIGIN exposes the flaws of materialistic theories, you’ll travel through a molecular universe to encounter extraordinary biological engineering crucial to the survival of every organism that has ever existed. Engineering that points unmistakably to intelligence and mind.
ORIGIN is a film that transcends science to touch the heart and mind of anyone who has ever pondered the deepest mystery of the human experience: Where did we come from and why are we here?
ORIGIN will be available on DVD and Blu-ray with English subtitles, Stereo and 5.1 Surround audio.

Darwins Dilemma : The Mystery Of The Cambrian Fossil Record (DVD)
$22.49Add to cartThis powerful, new documentary explores one of the great mysteries in the history of life: the geologically-sudden appearance of dozens of major complex animal types in the fossil record without any trace of the gradual transitional steps Charles Darwin had envisioned 150 years ago.
Frequently described as “the Cambrian Explosion,” the development of these new animal types required a massive increase in genetic information. Growing evidence suggests that the creation of novel genetic information requires intelligence, and thus the burst of genetic information during the Cambrian Explosion provides convincing evidence that animal life is the product of intelligent design rather than a blind undirected process like natural selection.
Darwin’s Dilemma recreates the prehistoric world of the Cambrian era with state-of-the-art computer animation, and the film features interviews with numerous scientists, including leading evolutionary paleontologists Simon Conway Morris of Cambridge University and James Valentine of the University of California at Berkeley, marine biologist Paul Chien of the University of San Francisco, and evolutionary biologist Richard Sternberg, a Research Collaborator at the National Museum of Natural History.
